At Family Practice on the River, the CNPs perform physicals, prescribe medicine, refer to specialists and more. Family Practice accepts most major commercial insurances, Medicare, Maine Care, and self-pay options. Family Practice on the River is a full-service Healthcare office providing comprehensive medical care to individual adults and families.

Caroline J. Wilmot, CNP

Caroline joined Family Practice on the River in 2017. Caroline is a "Mainer" and received her degree from The University of Southern Maine. Caroline also studied Psychology and Biology while attending school, as well as attended a Study Abroad Program in Costa Rica.


Caroline's Professional Experience while attending school is vast: Great Works Family Practice-York Hospital, MMC Breast Center, Planned Parenthood, Maine General-Express Care Clinics, Richmond Area Health Center, and Falmouth-By-The-Sea Long-Term-Care & Rehab. Caroline lives locally and loves everything The Kennebunk's have to offer.


As a Nurse Practitioner, Caroline focuses on Family Practice and has a special passion for Women's Health. Caroline is currently a PCP for many of our patients and is always welcoming new patients.

Kathleen McKeon, CNP

Kathleen McKeon, CNP, has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2008 - most recently at Mercy Prime Care in Falmouth. She also has a passion for Herbal Integrated Healthcare. She is a PCP who joined Family Practice on the River in 2022 and is currently accepting new patients

Meredith B. Ryan, APRN, FNP-C

Meredith received her graduate degree from Rivier University in 2021. She has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the family practice setting since 2022. Prior to becoming an FNP, she worked as a nurse in acute care settings for 10 years.


She has a passion for creating partnerships with her patients to help them achieve their health goals. She wants her patients to feel empowered to make decisions about their health care while providing guidance and education for them. 


When not at work, Meredith enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She enjoys hiking, running and chasing her kids around on the beach!
